Is a dynamic voluntary organisation where individuals from all walks of life unite to drive the growth and development of our nation. Their unwavering commitment revolves around promoting patriotism, fostering national unity and integrity, and envisioning a prosperous and morally upright India—Swasth-Samarth-Sanskarit Bharat.

Their multifaceted work encompasses two major pillars: Service (sewa) and Education (sanskar). Through their service initiatives, they actively engage in diverse activities aimed at uplifting communities and addressing societal needs. Simultaneously, they place great emphasis on educational endeavours, imparting valuable knowledge and instilling ethical values, thereby nurturing the holistic well-being of individuals and shaping a brighter future for our country.

Founded in 1963, Bharat Vikas Parishad is a voluntary organisation driven by a commitment to service and values. It operates on a non-political platform with a focus on socio-cultural development. Dedicated to the progress of our nation in various domains of human endeavour, including cultural, social, academic, moral, national, and spiritual realms, the organisation aims to foster patriotism, national unity, and integrity.

On January 12, 1963, coinciding with the birth centenary of Swami Vivekanand, the Citizens Council, which was originally established to mobilise citizen efforts during the Chinese attack, underwent a transformation. Led by prominent industrialists and social reformers such as the late Lala Hans Raj and Dr. Suraj Prakash, the council was renamed Bharat Vikas Parishad. The organisation draws inspiration and guidance from the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekanand.

Recognising the importance of formal registration, Bharat Vikas Parishad was officially registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860 on July 10, 1963.
